 · ANSI C Foreword (This Foreword is not part of American National Standard C) This standard supersedes American National Standard for Electric Power Systems and Equipment Voltage Ratings (60 Hz), ANSI C Standard nominal system voltages and voltage ranges shown in the previous standard remain unchanged in this standard.  · ANSI C establishes the nominal voltage ratings and operating tolerances for Hz electric power systems above volts (steady-state voltage levels only). Its latest revision, ANSI C includes preferred voltage ratings up to and including kV maximum system voltage. However, it does not include momentary disturbances, which may be the result of, but not limited to, utility.  · Table 1 presents the nominal voltages for secondary circuits established in ANSI C and is recommended by RUS for its borrowers to serve their residential and commercial consumers. The voltage limits established and recommended in ANSI C are used by the majority of the electric utilities in the United States.
